Due to poor turnout and the long distance for us to travel we have decided to discontinue the clinics at Mineral Wells. We will still be at the Weatherford and Crowley locations as before. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Normally we set up right in front of Walden's Farm and Ranch, but since no on can see us back there, we will be setting up closer to the road in between McDonald's and Tractor Supply. We Thank our host Walden's for helping us with this slight relocation and hope you all will continue to shop Walden's!.
We have noticed that about 90% of our business happens from 10 AM to 2 PM we have decided to end our clinics at 2:00 instead of the usual 4:00. Also with the weather heating up we don't see any reason for us or our customers to cook in the heat of the afternoon. Come a little earlier to see us this summer! Thanks!
Well, it's hot. I'm hot, you're hot, we're all hot here in Texas...especially our pets. Dogs do fine outdoors even in this heat as long as they have two things - WATER & SHADE, lots of both. Even short rides in the back of the pickup are uncomfortable for your dog, so if you must transport them back there, don't let them sizzle too long and get some shade and water for them as soon as possible. We'll be providing a little shade and a little water for your 4-legged friends at our clinics this summer, so come by and see us. Save time and a little coin on pet vaccines, heart worm meds and flea and tick control at our Healthy Tails Pet Care "Oasis". Stay cool!
We have a new location opening May 16th at the Walden's Farm and Ranch Supply in Mineral Wells. Thanks go out to Melissa, the manager for inviting us. The address is 196 Garrett Morris Pkwy, Mineral Wells, TX 76067. Their phone number is 940.325.8500. See you there!
Be on the look-out for our new RV and this pretty veterinarian this Saturday March 28th at Walden's Farm and Ranch Supply in Weatherford. Mosquitoes are out now and it's prime weather for those pesky heartworm bearing creatures so be sure to have your pets tested and on preventative. We'll have plenty on hand so come by and see us.
We recently purchased an RV trailer to make our clinics a little more comfortable. We tried it out last Saturday at our Walden's Farm and Ranch clinic. Nice!
After all this frigid weather this week and more precip expected for this weekend we have decided to reschedule the February 28th clinic at Waldens to March 7th. See you there.
We'd like to thank our friends at LPMX in Crowley and at Walden's Farm and Ranch Supply in Weatherford for allowing us to set up at their locations. We wouldn't be able to serve you all without their help and support. Thanks!
Have you ever had a shot at your doctors office and been sore the next day? It is not uncommon for customers to call or email us with concerns over their pets following vaccinations so I thought I would make a comment here to help ease your minds a bit. Not all pets experience soreness, but many do. Especially small dogs and cats who have very little tissue around the injection site. Your pet may seem drowsy, listless or sore. They may not want to eat or move about much. This may last for 24 to 48 hours. If you see this in your pet don't worry, that is a normal reaction to the vaccine. All pets react different to vaccines so don't be surprised if one is sore and others are not. As long as you don't see facial swelling, excessive vomiting or hives they should fully recover in 48 hours.
